Small Little Mirage Upgrade

I  went ahead and added a center console armrest since mine didn’t have one, and as far as I’m aware they can’t be purchased with them anyhow. This one has storage underneath the lid so I finally have somewhere to stow my wallet. Super easy install and even looks nice. The Mirage is now a luxury car. I rest my case ;)

Couldn’t agree more. It was one major fault I had. 49.99$ on amazon and took me just a few minutes.

T his is a bad shot of the “luxury” vers ion from the marketing info - mine is the base so it’s all black, (no red stit ching,) and it just has two open cup holders in front instead of that sliding cover thing.  It is really pretty low - not much storage space under the cover - but better than nothing.

They are pretty hard to find for sale around here....not common, but not uncommon enough that they are surprising to see. Saw an Apple Green one and a black one yesterday....oh, and one of the newer facelifted ones in a very nice bright blue with the LED taillights and faux grill on the front!

I, oddly, personally like the older style better, it’s more unique! :)

Mine has the LED lights and such as mine is facelifted. The older ones are definitely very neat! There’s one other one that runs around my city and it happens to be apple green as well. These things make the ultimate commuter car

base wrx - it’s the US spec car. I actually looked at ordering the larger JDM armrest piece but it’s super pricey for what it is - you actually have to reuse the stock top piece so all you really get is a bit more height and storage room.

Any luxury car would have loads of sound-deadening for the sensory isolation experience!
